★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 1,657 reviews · 2 hours 30 minutes (approx.) · from $48Our pick

Spend about 2.5 hours aboard the Sunset Bosphorus yacht, passing palaces, mosques, bridges, and fortresses on both shores. Guides such as Nahed, Serdar, and Senol provide commentary, while tea, coffee, snacks, Wi-Fi, and blankets add comfort. A short Kanlıca stop brings Turkish yogurt and coffee.

“This was a very well organised trip, from before we were collected we were informed by WhatsApp of the exact vehicle picking us up (photos too) to how we were treated through the 2.5 hour trip. From stepping onto the boat we were given drinks and snacks and throughout the trip we received more drinks and snacks. Nahed gave commentary throughout the trip and she obviously knows her stuff, very informative and lovely and friendly; all the staff on board were. Highly recommended trip.”

Morning Bosphorus Cruise and Spice Bazaar

4.Morning Bosphorus Cruise and Spice Bazaar

★★★★★★★★★★3.5 · 25 reviews · 4 hours · from $90

Spend four hours touring Istanbul by air-conditioned vehicle and boat. Visit the 1660 Spice Bazaar, then cruise past Rumeli Hisari, the Bosphorus Bridge, Ottoman waterfront mansions, and palace sites. English guidance, hotel or cruise-port pickup, and cancellation up to 24 hours ahead are included.

“The spice bazaar where we had a private meeting with a shop owner to learn about their products without the pushing nature of most vendors. Also the cruise was beautiful. My only complaint is that sitting on the outdoor deck, it was not possible to hear the boat’s explanations of what we were seeing over the boat’s speakers. We could have gone downstairs which was indoors and perhaps heard better. But it was too sunny of a day to be inside.”
