Actual tour of sophia basilica and the cistern was good. However, did NOT appreciate wasting time/unscheduled half hour 'carpet rug' sales pitch. We were hoping for bit of a refreshment stop and told we were, only to have to sit through a sales pitch from local rug trader and only offered tea of…”

Abbiamo fatto un giro lunghissimo di un’ora per poi arrivare alle 9 alle moschee (aprono alle 9!!!). Gli autisti sono però disponibili, il che è una nota positiva. La guida è velocissima e stressatissima, ci ha dato i minuti contati per stare nelle moschee e fare voto o banalmente guardarci intorno, non ha aspettato chi è rimasto indietro. Il tour dura solo 2 ore e mezza e termina al gran bazaar, dove, se non hai prenotato l’intera giornata, vieni lasciato libero di girare. 60 euro per 2 ore e mezza…”

My favorite, was the Grand Bazaar. It is overwhelming, but our guide had a good knowledge of which vendors were reputable and helped us navigate. She should do shopping tours!”
